3 Tris
3 hydroxymethyl aminomethane (Tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, generally referred to as Tris) is an organic compound, its formula (HOCH2) 3CNH2. Tris has been widely used in biochemistry and molecular biology experiments in the preparation of buffer solution. [1] For example, commonly used in biochemistry experiments TAE and TBE buffer (for nucleic acid dissolution) need to use Tris. Because it contains amino, it can occur with the aldehyde condensation reaction.
